AEV Snorkel

Not having much luck over there, so I'll try here.

I'd like to get rid of my AEV snorkel. If you or know someone in the lowermainland area with a silver JK and would like an AEV snorkel for $100, please let me know, but we would need to trade hoods, but you wouldn't have to do any cutting or drilling to have the snorkel installed.

These go for $370 new.

Let me know guys.

No one digs the silver

I'm sure someone will bite, that is a hell of a good trade!

I'm interested. Rockin the silver and have a good hood. I get over to the mainland as often as possible so depending on what kind of time frame you have we could make it happen.I'm currently running a purejeep cai though and that's not going to be compatible.

Pat, do you still have the stock air box in storage? I'm in no rush what so ever.

Thanks for the offer Evan! Sounds like we should make this happen! To be clear it;s the stock bright silver right?

Yeah, stock silver. AFAIK there's only one silver. No disrespect Pat but are there much scratches on your hood? Last time I saw your jeep it was over a year ago.

LOL...fair question but no I'm pretty good with the whole scratch thing right? I use limb-risers to keep the hood scratching down...the few that are on the radius are in the clearcoat and I'll buff them out so well you'll wonder why I even mentioned them. There was a darker silver too that was a stock color.

Ok Pat.

My is an 07' bright silver. I'm almost certain we have the same color.

When will you be in Vancouver next? We can check out the color first if you'd like. I may wanna work out a deal for your CAI if you're interested. I haven't decided if that is something I'd like to run yet. I'm giving it some thoughts.

Looks like it's coming together. I plan to be over there in October...or early November for sure.I'd want to put the K & N (or similar washable version) replacement filter in the stock box in trade for the purejeep cai I'm running now which is definitely an improvement over the stock intake.

Pat look at the AFe drop-in filter over the K&N. I have been very happy with mine. They come in dry or oiled versions and I think they are about $50-60 at Lordco!

Yes, they are both washable, The AFe pro-dry one is easier to clean...no oil required. I run the AFe Proguard 7 oiled filter and it's washable as well but requires the oil.

Ok Pat, give me a heads up on when you'll be coming. More notice would be better. FYI I'm pretty busy last week of Oct. But let me know.

too funny, i just swapped mine this morning with another silver. you can make sure they are the same color by checking the paint code on the door jamb. should be ps2

it took about 30 mins to completely swap everything.

What's a matter Pat you don't want to rock the two tone silver jeep.

Take it out and play with it!

Hells ya I would! I always liked that darker silver that you've got Ken. Hey how's that AEV snorkel working for you? Looks like I'm gonna get one without having to do the hood cutting process all over again like we did on yours eh?
