Hello,
Ive searched this thing up and down and could not find just what I as looking for. Ive been working on a bolt on winch mount with no frame cutting and keeping the winch totally hidden. I have been building and designing a prototype and thought I would share where I am to date. I will be reversing the vacuum mount and it should just clear the winch gear box.
The difference is I'm working on mounting the winch right side up and no cutting of the frame. I will need to cut the bumper of course but I'm hoping thats it. The problem I'm working on right now is the angle to the fairleed. Its too steep in my mock ups. Ideas anyone ?
This bolts into the the factory bumper mount as well as the side frame mounts.
would reverse spooling the dyneema not alleviate a little of the steepness? I presume you mean because of the the rear of the bumper face being smack-up against the lineout.
hi , i designed the winch plate in the drawing. id be happy to discuss further.
