Not ever.
1) pure bling
2) uglier than the gargoyle
3) perfect for getting ripped from mounts on anything more challenging than a speed bump.
..
There is a guy down the road with a plastic hummer hood appliqué who might be interested though.

Nope those would just get hung up on everything. Need to offer a bolt on rail more like the ACE rails that can act as a step but do not have "steps" that hang down 10" lower than needed. Those would be good for a handicapped JK owner but what handicapped person buys a JK they are hard to get into.

The first one shows a pic of a TJ with the extra tube going down to protect the frame? I guess? Either way, not interested because I don't have a TJ and I don't want the tube to stick down. The other looks like it just mounts to the body mounts... I'll just stick with JCR sliders. Thanks

Never have been a fan of body mount side boards/steps/sliders.. it looks like the previous owner had some on mine and they were ripped out. That being said, there is a lady running oval side steps on a toyota driving around my town with the rear mount broke off driver side and held with bungee cord.. if its broke on a mount and not needed, TAKE IT OFF!

These are too bad. Sorta like the ACE rails. All the others NO.

Not too bad. I personally would like to see them angled out a little bit more to protect the body better and to make a better step. Also wonder how they mount. For a bolt on rail the ACE rails seem pretty strong and they mount to the body mounts on the frame.
