If you're handy give this a try:
We used 2x4's, some rope and eye hooks into the rafter studs in the garage, works awesome and economical, less than $10!! My husband put screws thru the hardtops bottom mounting holes with rubber washers while it's hanging just to secure it a little, (gets a little windy up here). We just put the top back on for a roadtrip otherwise it was hanging up there all summer. I have the 3 piece freedom top, just the back half goes up and I run with the front 2 on. http://www.jkowners.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=349&pictureid=2021 http://www.jkowners.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=349&pictureid=2022
you could add a pulley system to this and park right under it to do it alone. It took 2 guys to get it up there and back down.
I have the Mopar HOSS Storage System. Works great for me but I can see it being a space taker if you don't have a place to put it. Fits in my garage with the Jeep just fine.
I think I've replied to everyone...something I forgot to include to some of you is that the cart has since been covered with some carpet that I had laying around for protection.
It works great, doesn't scratch the top and it sits very stable...
Sorry, just logged back on. I need the cart that will store the doors and the top. Good looking wooden version, I considered making one of these but wanted something that wold take care of the top and doors in the same footprint.
THANKS!!
