Thinking about adding an ARB locker and plumbing it to the Co2 tank. Anyone else running a setup like this?
Here's the question (probably a stupid question)... When you hook up the ARB to a Co2 tank, do you still have a switch to engage/disengage the locker? Or is it controlled by turning on the Co2 valve?
thanks Church... But don't worry about it. Between the cost of the regulator and the solenoid, it's cheaper to just buy the ARB compressor. Looks like I'll just buy it all and call it a day.
Just for information sake. You can see on the Powertank lower gauge that they are already set for locker pressure. There are several guys that run their lockers off of CO2.
I've seen guys run out of CO2 and have no lockers for the duration. Something to keep in mind. I have yet to see an ARB compressor fail though I'm sure that has happened as well.
I'll be running the Jet packs on mine as well to control the ARBs. Very dependable and just plain cool to flick a switch and "Pshh" locker engaged. No waiting for the compressor to kick in and build pressure.
