Moab after SEMA?

Hey is anyone interested in meeting up in Moab following SEMA? The room rates drop to reasonable prices (>=$30) and the times I've been there in November were pretty nice, a little chilly but excellent wheeling with almost no one else.

I'd love to go to SEMA, can't fit it in this year. I have, however, got my room reserved for Easter Moab....I should be there from the 19 to the 24th.

A reply from another forum:

I don't have anything set in stone yet. I will probably only be a couple days at SEMA then the rest in Moab personally. That is if I still go to SEMA, I am gyrating on this one. But I figured since many vendors and vendor employees will be in the area and so close to Moab maybe we could get something together.

I would suggest Friday, Saturday, Sunday for sure but I'll probably do Thursday - Tuesday in Moab.

Meeting could be as casual as 9am at City Market everyday to CB channel 13 in town in the AM to get everyone together.

I'll be either at the Big Horn or the Apache. Big Horn is close to the Brewery and mickey D's.

We ran this event in the Isuzu group and did it the last weekend of October. We called it Crawloween. However since the room rates drop so dramatically in November it is worth it to push the dates into November.

Another option is the Vegas Valley 4wheelers Hump and Bump. However I'd like to do Moab if there is enough interest.

Possibly interested going in November, that is if you don't mind a TJ tagging along.
I won't be going to SEMA, so I'll be driving to Moab from Reno, NV.

We'll be at SEMA (polyperformance) if you like to drink, meet up with us there. We are staying in LV after SEMA for the corr race.

Ok, there seems to be not much interest in this. So I will probably change my plans and head over to Logandale and wheel with some friends and the Vegas Valley 4-wheelers and their Hump & Bump event.

I'll be in Moab the second weekend of May.

Did you get this memo Dennis?

I like drinking! I'll see you there!
