OBX Driving on the Beach?

We are heading down to the OBX, Avon, to be specific, the week of July 24th. Anyone know which beaches are open for ORV use?

If you're gonna be fucking weird, own it.

Just got back a couple weeks ago. I couldn't find anywhere that would allow driving on the beach I want to say between April and October??? So we went up north past Corolla to Carova where the wild horses are. It was definitely the best part of the trip, even for the inlaws. Just remember to turn the esp off and air down. Head in from the beach around mile 21-22 by the firestation in the morning or evening and you are guaranteed to find a bunch. The offroading is the greatest fun though. Lots of standing water if it has recently rained.
