Are there any cool places to wheel within say 50 miles of Lorton, VA?

Big Dogs are great events. Wheeling for all levels. The parties at night are not always "family friendly".

I usually wheel at Crozet, its a good bit further than 50 miles, but worth the drive.

Not a lot of other wheeling outside of mild forest roads in the area.

If you are interested in Crozet, let me know.

Thank you..

Here is why I ask.. I can get 2 round trip tickets for me and my girl and my rig on the Amtrak Car Transport Train from Orlando area to Lorton, VA which is just south west of DC for about 680 bucks... yes, I said round trip.

Figured I would take advantage of that...

So how far is Crozet? And what is the terrain?

$776 for the jeep, wife, son and I. Sisterinlaw has a cabin up in western Tenn. I might do this as well if I meet the height requirement (88 inches).

I have a project in Crozet that i will be making somewhat regular trips for and the builder is a member there. Do you know Allan or Enoch. Allan has a jeep, not sure what year, and Enoch is into toyotas. Hopefully i will get a chance to check that place out, i have seen some youtube vids and it looks pretty sick.

Seriously considering the Auto Train for a trip this September. I see a lot of buggy pictures...how is the wheeling for those of us with license plates..Big Dog looks fine but how about Crozet.

I have not been to Crozet, but I here it's a blast. wahoojeep is also part of our local club novajeepers. A lot of dd's make it out there. I know majorho's rig (who has the silver 4door pictured) is a dd.
