June Jam at Hardrock
June 7 2009
Start Time 10:00 am
This is a "run what you brung" style event similar to the BackYard Bash that the Clay County 4x4 Club used to hold in Callahan, but on much better terrain! There are 3 classes. They are separated by tire size. Dot tires required for classes 1 and 2 but not for class 3.
We will have 2 courses designed specifically for the different levels of vehicles. The first course for class 1 and 2 is the Peewee MX track. It's enough to test your vehicle without tearing it up. The Class 3 entries get the Main MX track! This is an incredible track in a 4x4!
For the second course, you'll get some rocks, we'll be running a portion of the Hills and Rocks course that the SETTC teams ran in April. How far you go and how you drive through them will be determined by your class. Class 3 will get the full rocks and finish the same as the SETTC teams did. Bring your favorite 4x4 out to compete for prizes, trophies, and bragging rights! When you are finished with the courses, you can go out back and explore the 4x4 section of Hardrock! We'll also have a new rock garden available to test your skills on!
There will be a special trophy/award for the Fastest Rock Garden time. This is after the Jam is completed and will be a bonus course.
