Dude, I saw that truck up here a while back! I could not get my phone out fast enough to take a photo of it though.

Did you get any photos of the drive train? I thought maybe they just put the ford body onto the 5 ton chassis. But from your photos, it doesn't look that way at all.

EDIT:

Ahh, found this: http://www.deercreekconstruction.net/contacttruck.html

Some of the stuff is actually done pretty well. The rockwells have been upgraded (Rear has 2" 48 spline alloy shafts), hube brakes, etc. Although the front leafs have got to be hell on your back.

Its an interesting truck non the less.

That's what I was thinking too! I also thought it is funny that it is advertising a construction company since they would def need a ladder to get into the bed or access the ladder rack.....ironic huh?

Spring clam came un done. The leaf isnt actually broken, those lower ones just slipped. Easy fix, but hopefully the guy notices before he actually breaks the main leaf. Although the way the link is just sitting there is pretty dangerous.

And I actually have not had a sway bar hooked up on my truck for probably 6 years now. My '75 cherokee didnt even come with a sway bar. Its a lot less of an issue with leaf springs. But with coils, sway bars are a must.

A guy hit my YJ when I was turning left back when I was 16. He broke the rear leaf, but I was able to drive it to my buddies garage. Bought time for some deaver springs for that YJ.

Someone decided it would be cool to park right behind my Jeep.

I don't think they realized how close they actually got to my D-ring.
