Wiper blade help!

Bought some wiper blades at Pep Boys. I believe they were the Bosch, and they suck! They should be called windshield smear'ers. Any advice?

Send a message via AIM to paramaniac

I'm running the rain-x wipers. A little more $$ but worth it IMHO

Did you clean the windshield. More times than not it's the dang windshield that has crap/grime on it. Then clean the blades back off

Well I do have windshield washer fluid that I have squirted copious amounts of on the window, but I'll give it a good scrub tomorrow. I'll report back.

X2 from the guy stranded on the East Coast in a blizzard!

Use windex first, then rubbing alcohol, and a razor blade if necessary to remove bug carnage, then windex again, then yo shit will work.

A lot of chit coming...

These things are stupid expensive for wiper blades, but I put a set on in Dec 06 and the things still wipe like the day they were installed. If they ever do wear out I will get another set for sure. http://www.silblade.com/Silblade_c_7.html

I also just picked a set of these up (from Amazon). They work great, actually come in a 15" size, and are relatively cheap.
