Anybody have a lead on a custom fabricator in Norcal. Anywhere from Hollister to Sac. Nevada City? Full cages, Body armor, Bumpers. Axle reinforcement. You know, an awesome welder.

Call Eric Wright (Wright Welding)– awesome certified welder – no backyard booty fab / booger welds. He is in Elk Grove. He does super clean work and is reasonable on his prices.

I've used Toby from Lavendar Brothers/XXX Traction in Seaside.

Toby built and runs the 4 Wheeler Magazine owned Nissan Titan. It's usually sitting out side on the dirt lot next door, it's huge and wheeled hard. Anyways he also is a judge for Top truck Challenge in Hollister and elseware. Needless to say, I trust his judgement and his shop with my jeep. So far they've done they have done the EVO sleeves, LCA skids and gussets for me, did great work.

He also resealed my front axles and the sad part was that he "didn't stock seals for axles that small" talking about my D44....ouch. His shop is full of massive trucks and buggies. He's a member on Pirate, I think his s/n is mrtwstr.

My JK is currently at Off Road Enterprises in Stockton. Its a smaller two man shop specializing primarily in axles. He can do anything from a simple gear swap to a full custom build.

When I pick up my JK I will get the fab shop info nextdoor to him. I dont have alot of info, but I did get to see some of his work, good quality!! I know he charges roughly $18 per linear foot installed (not bad when you think of all the prep and planning going into it) and can do anything from mild cages to wild buggies, once again I will get more info when I can.

Tell Bill and Wade hi from James, who used to work at DLS of stockton like 10 years ago next time you see them.. Do they still have the cj7 with the 540 merlin under the hood? That thing was badass when he would take off from the shop in 3rd gear and pull both front tires off the ground and carry them for a while

They still have the CJ7, it has mellowed out to a nice LS Series V8 these days. Though I still think it may lift a tire under WOT.

Absolutely! Contact Gary Graham, at EXTREME MOTORSPORTS in Brentwood, CA. Plus, this is very close to you (40 minutes away...)

Gary has been doing it for 18+ years, and fabrication is him and his team's speciality. Tell him Rick sent you...

I cant recommend MP's in Chico enough. The type of fab your looking for is exactly their specialty and they do nice work and they prices are reasonable unlike some fabrication shops. At least look into them.

Hey Rob, I'm not sure what or how extreme you want to get. But two shops that I have used that do great work is Extreme Gear in Rancho Cordova, Ca. And WFO in Auburn, Ca. WFO does all kinds of things. They had a 4 link early bronco that was badass. Tons of Coilovers conversions. My 2 cents.
