Logandale 8/3/08 Lots of trails and obstacles

I decided to get in some wheeling this morning. It was a last minute decision. Woke up at 6am and drove to Logandale about an hour away. met up with 3 other TJs, 1 LJ, 2 CJs, and 2 YJs.
Had some good wheeling and a long day. Pretty much a precursor to the Hump N Bump. We ran a few of the trails and a few of the obstacles. Sh!tter Trail with the bowl, The "V", the S turns, and took lots of pics. I hope some people send me all the pics of me though... took the JK on some interesting challenging hard lines. One line I could not get up on one obstacle. It was just not doable. I did not feel bad since the CJ on 44s could not get up it either.

Did take 3 alternates that only the CJ would try. So that is always good too...

PIcs uploading now. Took over 150 pics and so I have to find good pics.....

This is the obstacle that only the big Black CJ and I were willing to give a try at.

Looks like fun. I was out there in Vegas week before last. I should have looked you up. I was hoping to rent a Wrangler, but all they had was a Liberty 4x4. It actually drove pretty good on the road, but I never took it off road. I found a custom 4x4 shop off Las Vegas Blvd. I can't remember the name, but they had some pretty cool Jeeps sitting out there.

There are three choices when coming down this trail. Turn right and head out a 3 rated trail

Or like above take the center route which is a 3+ 4 obstacle

These pics are of the left route. which is also a 4 obstacle. Or 3+ depends on who you ask.
Just before I headed up the guy goes this is the only place I have seen someone roll over...

The CJ going up where I did. He tried the first place and had the same problems.

You went by Ted Wiens 4x4. Should have looked Collin up and said hello. Or Daryl and asked for a trail report. He is the best story teller in the world... as in tells the truth but can make a trip to the grocery store intriguing.

Yeah, that was it. I had the girlfriend with me and stopping didn't sound fun to her. Maybe because there was a bum passed out on the side of the building.

Nice pics, looks like you guys had fun. Should have joined you guys, but I would have melted my ass off.

What day do you get the pleasure of tearing off that POS Full Traction lift and installing the new one?
