Moab 4-18, 4-19

Ran Rusty Nail on 4-18. I was unable to make the first obstacle. Wheel base too LOOONNNNGGG! Had to run the bypass. Did great on the rest of the trail. We ran the long way out through Poison Spider.

On 4-19 we ran Behind the Rocks. We turned around at White Knuckle without trying it. The girls were asleep in the back and I didn't want to get them out. Leave sleeping kids sleeping for as long as possible is my theory

More shots are here:

Let me know if you find using the Webshots site as annoying as it seems to be!

Other than the first obstacle, Rusty Nail wasn't too bad. The JK's wheelbase really helps with some of the pucker factor on the off camber stuff. I did destroy the roller fairlead on the first obstacle though. It is bent under the bumper now The only reason we went out Poison Spider was just to make a longer day. We made pretty good time on the Nail.

When are you heading back down?

Memorial weekend, although my JK is stuck in Trinidad with a broken t-case so itís somewhat dependent on the Jeep place there getting parts in time.

Since Alec hasn't said anything yet.......the update is that he looks to be on track for Moab.

I can't wait to get there. I may tow him because his Jeep is allergic to the highway.

Rusty Nail, Pritchett....it's gonna be fun!

Your Volvo sees more trails than Adam's rig.

Pritchett? Sounds like fun! Let me know how you do. I have been told the JKU line on Rocker Knocker can be a little crunchy
