pass seat won't lock when forward

I think something popped out of there (I found a pin, no idea where it goes though).

When you put the seat forward to get into the back the seat won't lock and just slides to the back (sloped driveway).

Anyone have a blow up detail of the mechanism or know how to fix this?

thx

This isn't a problem so much as just a nuisance...the seat isn't supposed to lock when it's tilted forward.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "HOLY $HIT...WHAT A RIDE!"

is it the seat or is it the user causing this issue?

It doesn't lock forward.

Talking

99 out of 100 times a seat track locks up, or will only move in a restricted range...there's a coin in the track, lodged in there, acting as a chock.

Sometimes the coin is bent and mangled and hard to see....but if you take the seat, flip it over, and look closely...its almost always there.

As for the slide when folded, that's a "Feature".

To "FIX" it, put the seat back upright.
