FNG in PCB

Howdy all,

Dave here in sunny Florida. I picked up my '09 JKU Sahara when I moved back from Guam last November and am loving it. I have yet to get it dirty , but that should change once the weather warms up. I've got a Wild Boar Products roof rack coming my way that I'm itching to bolt on... anybody have experience with their stuff?

Cheers,

Hey Dave, welcome to the forum. I grew up in Panama City and my mom still lives there. You Air Force or Navy?

No experience with the roof rack.

NAVY MH-60S's, and I'm from PC too. Grew up here, joined the Navy, and after 5.5 yrs I'm stationed back here, still flying 60's. Every once in a while I get to play with our MH-53E's we've got, too.

Very cool. I was a UH-60 crew chief in the Army.

Every place I know of from when I was a kid is closed down around PC, but I'm out of touch in the area now. There are a few places within about 3 or 4 hours from you though.

River Rock in Georgia and Morris Mountain in Alabama are the closest places with rocks that I know of. They're both around a 4 hour drive. There's no where that I know of in your area to drive on the beach. I wish I could find a good spot to do some beach riding in the pan handle.

Try and find somewhere local to ride and I'll get up with you the next time I'm down, which should be the end of Feb. If not you could always meet us on one of our rides up this way. We have Florida boys ride with us often.

Here's a map with a lot of places to ride in the southeast. Now that I think about it, I need to add this map to jkowners southeast section and let people update it with new places in their area:
