* I recently added new chromoly rear axle shafts, an Optima Yellow Top and had the tires trued and balanced. NO DISAPPOINTMENTS HERE!

The Hemi conversion was done in November 2009 at approximately 16,700 miles. The engine and transmission were taken from a 2008 Jeep Commander. The engine and transmission were never separated during the removal and reinstallation into the JK. The engine/trans had 7008 miles at the time of installation. The soft top is brand new. The tires have less than 200 miles on them. The spare is new but the backside is blemished. Photos of this JK were on Xtreme 4x4’s TV show and Poison Spyder Customs website. Mobil 1 used exclusively for all engine oil changes.

This JK runs, drives and rides great. The Rock Krawler suspension works great and it really soaks up the bumps. The hemi not only makes for good crawling but it also makes highway driving easy. Since I completed the swap, everything has worked flawlessly. No hiccups, problems or issues.

Vehicle is located in San Antonio area. Shipping at the buyer’s expense or pickup from San Antonio Airport (SAT) can be arranged. A deposit is required to hold the vehicle. I will gladly refund the deposit if you view the vehicle and feel that it is misrepresented or you decide not to purchase.

PM for contact info

Tim

I can install a winch if the new owner needs one. I'm selling this rig because I plan to start a couple new Jeep projects.

Thanks for the interest.

I think I need this rig. I'll crawl it all over the highways of Central Texas.

I hate you for selling it Tim, but only because I know that the hours we are going to spend in your shop sipping on the good stuff and working on the new projects are going to make my wife hate me.

This thing is amazing to anyone looking at it. Clean as a whistle and a ton of heart went into this Jeep. I'll be sad to see it go.

Marcus

Greenmeanie,
Thanks for the interest in the wheels but as you can guess, I'm not looking to part anything out on the Jeep.
When I bought those wheels from Allied my rep told me they were one offs. I'm not sure if they were going to produce them and then decided against it. Anyway, they sure are nice.

Tim

It's actually black bedliner on the PSC bumper.

Hey Tom, yep I put it up on the for sale block b/c I'm ready to start another project. It's a great Jeep but I'm ready to do another one. I will probably go to something more exclusively trail oriented on the next build. Probably tube frame too.

Still for sale...the potential buyer is having trouble getting me the money. Until cash exchanges hands, it's still for sale.

Since my last post I've added new chro moly axles in the rear and traded out the Optima Red Top for a new Yellow Top. I also had the tires trued and it is butter smooth down the road.

Thanks greenmeanie but I'm not looking to separate the rig from the wheels.

Thanks Ron. I gave the original buyer as much time as I could but just couldn't leave it off the market any longer. I know it will go!
