Confirmed Wheel Fitment
So I was thinking we all could put together a good resource for somebody in the market for new wheels...especially for 15" and 16" wheels but all types and sizes would be great to see!
Please post up specs, comments and pics on wheels that you have confirmed fit (or do not fit ).EDIT: this thread was started back in 2007 when we were still unsure which wheels would fit the JK. NOw that there are so many wheels out there please just post whatever it is you are running as a resource for those in the market for new wheels! Give as much info as possible and a pic if you got it! ![]() ![]() Brand: Model: Height/Width: Offset: Backspacing: Wheel spacer: Tires: Related mods: Fitment comments: Pics!: Last edited by WTF_LOL; 08-26-2009 at 06:09 PM. |

I will start...
Brand: Unique (exact same manufacture as Crager so should be the same) Model: "Soft 8" Height/Width: 15x8 Offset: -13 Backspacing: 4" Wheel spacer: none Tires: 35x1250 BFG KM's Related mods: 2.5" lift, stock arms. Fitment comments: These wheels fit on and spun freely with no mods. However, there was a very slight rubbing. I had to take down the corners and some "ridges" of calipers only very slightly with the grinder. I did not have to remove enough material to make any performance difference, it really was just a touch of material removed. In the future I think I would go with a brand like the Pro Comp Rock crawlers just because theu have a 3.75" backspacing for a little more breathing room. Otherwise...Confirmed to fit! They are though, just as tight of a fit as I feel comfortable with. Also, the spare fit the stock carrier with no spacer needed! Pics!:

Hey Folks! This is my first post over here and even though I don't have a JK yet, my hunt for that ever elusive beast, the Rubicon Unlimited continues!
![]() OO7JOE - I have the 'Kooks on my current truck and like them a lot. I wrote a review of the RT03 for Off-Road.com that you can read here. Since I wrote the review I've had the opportunity to run them in a variety of other conditions, including some very nasty wet weather and I continue to have nothing but great things to say about them. (Warning - The editor over at Off-Road.com had a field day with my article and added in a lot of BS... "Old Girl" )When I get my JK I'll be transitioning my RT03's and Staun bead locks onto another set of wheels and running them with a 3 or 4" lift. I can't wait! ![]() ![]() OBTW - this is a great thread and will come in handy when it comes time to get wheels for the new truck. Thanks! Last edited by Ipe; 10-31-2007 at 06:08 AM. |

Brand: ProComp
Model: Extreme 7189 Height/Width: 17 x 9 Backspacing: 4.75 Wheel spacer: None Tires: Irok Radial 36x13.50x17 Related mods: 4" Lift, 1 3/4" front spacer Fitment comments: Trimmed seam at front of rear wheel well. Tires rubbed hard in the front wheel wells at full flex, so added additional 3/4" lower bump stop spacer. Tires rubbed hard on front RockRunner control arms at full lock, so adjusted steering stops. IPE, thanks for the info on the tires! I'll definately read that article. So far I keep hearing nothing but great things about those tires and also that they are cheaper than comparable 35's. I'll be getting these along with a 3" lift.
![]() Edit:Hey, I've read that article before. Good job! I have to ask though, what are you doing on this site when you have a (oh oh) Hummer? LOL. Just messing with you. Welcome though and hope you like it hear.

yes, they are "normally" chrome. I sand blasted them and painted them black with black plated lug nuts. My vehicle has been almost completely de-chromed. I have to pull the door locks and duracoat them next time I am coating some guns.
