Whats the capacity of it?

How much lower does it sit than stock?

How thick is the steel? does it need a skid plate?

Thanks

And, is it street legal and will it work for 2 doors?

Probly not. :-(

Does it fill from the same neck? If so, how? Gotta quick conversion from metric into standard? Feeling lazy tonight.

LED switch/gauge provides the user with the option to transfer fuel at the push of a button when required, while displaying available fuel in the Auxiliary tank.

Just shy of 18 gallons.

As with most things ARB, I'm betting expensive...

18 gallon might be enough considering that In 1999 the fuel tank became standard at 19 U.S. gallons (72 L, 16 imp gal) capacity.

Thanks.

Hmmm, six-seven hundred miles.... Would it cost more to buy or fill? What're asking for that baby. And are you saying the transfer pump goes both ways?

WORKS on a Diesel and Petrol. And the page on bottom is the brand who made them. Is a public web site where you guys can go on and see the different tanks and specifications. IS NOT JUST FOR DIESEL. They are only made in AUSTRALIA, thats why the web page is from AUSTRALIA.

ARB VEHICLE APPLICATION GUIDE says:

(TA64P) 4 Door Wagon 68Ltr Auxiliary Tank - Petrol Models (Includes Transfer Pump)

THANKS....

from ARB's website
: TA64D - Ground Clearance
Is ground clearance affected with the addition of another fuel tank?

A: No, The LongRanger is designed to complement the original jeep design and offers the same ground clearance as the factory tank.

So Manny, any idea on price with these things? Just curious really as I have a 2 dr. I remember seeing another companies larger tank (replacement tank) that was in the 800 range if I remember correctly so just wondering where this stacks up. Would really be usefull on an expo rig.

Yes the cost is 1690$

We know it is an expensive product, perhaps many will say that would be cheaper a gas pot on the roof lol. But comparing the benefits that this product offers, we can say that is unmatched by any other thing which.

Lets say you are on an adventure in the grand canyon of 4 days, and halfway through the group decide to change the course (unknown but further away) which was not provided in your travel supplies. As at the time when you understand the meaning of the word "prevention".

This is what makes this product a great benefit to its users.

Thanks. Lol

The other problem, at least for us in CA, it's not CARB approved.

Nice to see it is now offered for gas (not just diesel). This is a product to keep in mind for a future mod. Will bookmark this thread. Thanks.

The California Air Resources Board, also known as (CARB) is the "clean air agency" in the government of California.
