Who's going that knows those trails pretty well? I picked up on this on another forum and figured it's usually a "the more, the merrier" kinda thing.

So setup a Sunday run down to Manantico Lakes one of these days when the weather warms up a little, no? That spot is pretty cool, and I only saw about 1% of 1% of the place.

you will be fine stock. there are go arounds at the deep water areas. hopfully the ice will be gone when we do this run. I know the aea as well as a couple of people. Just dont do 30 pmh into the water and you will be fine.

Dancin Dan,

I will go out and pre scout a few areas a day or two ahead of time to make sure of watered areas and go arounds. Also notice that there are two group lists. Those who have snorkels can go one route and the non snorkels can go another area. We will split final groups and have a trail ride meeting just before we leave the camp site to wheel.

Nah, I use my head and decide what's passable and what's not on my own. I do wanna raise my breathers before I head out there though.

Besides, IIRC most of those roads back there are marked on a map, so it's technically not OFFroad driving so my insurance would cover a hydrolock. You know,- just in case I do go full retard (y'all can do a post search on me for my opinion of going full retard)

This is gonna be fun!

Yer gettin yer runs confused mang! The overnight thread was divided into snork / non-snork groups.

Besides, since it's not gonna be something like 300 Jeeps in the group, I figger we can figger it all out once we get out there. If I'm the only onw who ain't got a periscope, I can try to stick to the go arounds - Just as long as you're not taking me down Water Road (I'z heard me some stories about that shiat!!)

A pre-run scout out wouldn't be a bad idea at all - just to get a a feel for the water levels.

Not an issue for the guy who's too poor to have any installed yet. I'm just finally recouping my down payment! Time to go get muddy!
