Makes a big difference!

When I first got my x 2dr, my lift and tires were going on the same day. I installed my lift but as I was about to go pick up the tires up I got a call that the tires were delayed, DOH!

I had to drive around for a week with a lifted JK on the stock x tires

And then I got muy tires, really helped even it out! Jeep still looks so young in these pics, was fun to see them again

I also bought a bone stock 2 door X on 16" steels. Got a set of 18 inch Sahara wheels/tires from a co-worker and threw them on and could not have been happier with the change - especially for the low cost of free! Just realized that I do not have any pictures with the 16's. Oh well - here is one with the 18's.

Scott - can you tell me about the tires/wheels and about the lift. The overall look is about what I want for my Jeep. Thanks.

The lift was a 2.5" Teraflex HD BB. This kit has since been discontinued. It has Coils in the front and spacers in the back. It was discontinued as the front coils were giving 2 doors closer to 3.5"-4" of lift. In that pic I would say the front was right about 4" and the rear 2.5. For a similar look I would take a look at 3.5" lifts.

Here is the install and all the part numbers are in there
Teraflex 2.5" HD BB lift install

The wheels are 15x8 Unique Soft 8's (same as Crager) steel wheels
The first reply in this thread has the details on those wheels
Confirmed Wheel Fitment

The tires are BFG M/T 35x12.5/15

BTW, I feel a need to post a more current pic of the rig!
