Texas hardcore trail rigs

No JK's here. Just wanted to share some pictures of some of my favorite trail rigs that wheel around Texas. Enjoy...

Here is a couple of shots of my old wheeler prior to my JK. Its a 1980 K5 Blazer. It had a D60, a GM 14bolt, 5.13s, Detroits front and rear, hydro assist steering, 44" Boggers, fool cage, etc......

Duke. That's a badass rig. I almost pulled the trigger on a 74 K5. I love those things.

That's funny- We saw the Jugg out at Longs last weekend and I never even got a pic...He just wouldn't sit still long enough. That thing is a beast! You can't tell in the pic but the whole thing is Rhino/ Line-Xed inside and out.

07 Rubi- Are you in for Katemcy this weekend or not? You really should do this if able. Closed after this wknd till Feb- March 2009. Lots of other JK's will be there as well.

I feel like I keep telling everyone about this- so if I've already asked you...sorry.

Can't go - gotta take it easy for a while...oh and my rear main seal is leaking again. It was replaced 5000 miles ago. I just purchased the chrysler Lifetime (no limit on miles or years!!!) Maximum care warranty. I'll keep my Jeep forever and the amount of problems i had so far it's worth it to me. My Transmission is making a loud noise in all gears except 5th. So if i need a new tranny it already paid for most of the cost of the warranty. I'm driving about 25k - 30k miles a year so i expect to need a new engine within the next 3 years.
For anybody interested call Chrysler today, it's the last day of the up to 50% off of warranties, low payments no interest. But call them directly, dealerships have a Huge Markup.

That sounds like some good advice.

Unfortunately, it seems like my dealership is not sure, every time I take it in...weather or not they want to do warranty work. Be glad you don't have a lot of mods when it comes to this stuff.

BTW- automatic or standard? Just wondering...

it's a manual.
the dealership i go to has a crappy jeep mechanic and whenever i took the jeep in it didn't got fixed because Joe is Lazy, Blind & Deaf. I already told them that i don't want him near my Jeep anymore. Last time it was fixed by a different guy and it got fixed the first time. They are willing to fix my Jeep but Joe the 'Tech' was always the problem.

BTW; in the past they only serviced Dodge and only recently added Jeeps and Chrysler...so i think the Jeep experience is lacking but they are trying hard. That's why i keep going to them.
