Katemcy Rocks - June 7-8

I didn't get many pics on the good obstacles as too busy spotting, and most of the pics I did get are of Duke (white JK), but here's some pics from a great weekends wheeling.

Any time on the rocks is a good time

I had some minor damage on the very first obstacle, slipped in to a rock, and a TJ with us broke his front drive shaft shortly after that, but it was a lot of fun.

Ouch!! Good thing you had the doors off. Also good for you that the door will still close. Sorry about the carnage though.

We went to Mountainside ORV this weekend and had a blast. No carnage except for a busted bead on one of the XJ's. Luckily he was able to reseat it easily with a CO2 bottle. We got some great pictures, but I'm waiting on the owner of the park to post up the videos he took before I post a recap here.

Here's a sneak preview.

The door hinge bracket had to be hammered back to shape a little as it bent 3/4" backwards, but otherwise the doors fit fine.

After a little hammering and some Bondo it looks better, a little paint and a new hinge bracket and it will be good to go again.

Great pictures and video Duke. From the look of your first picture, I believe you are now part of the bashed fuel tank skid crew.

Good job Phil crawling over that nasty looking hump. How was the pucker factor laying the front down?

Actually that's not the hard bit, the next few feet is where it gets tricky as you go way off camber.

This is the next bit (pic from previous trip), it doesn't look that bad, but it feels pretty bad, especially as you are looking down at a 40' drop or so at the drivers side:

It actually gets worse off-camber, and I hate off-camber so it's always fun for everyone else to hear me scream like a little girl
