Yeah the Reid knuckles raised the tie rod so the normal steering stabilizer flip kits dont work. We have since fabricated a new bracket and moved the stabilizer up out of harms way

EDIT: CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE THIS PICTURE SMALLER... SORRY
Will aftermarket trackbar brackets like the poly bracket work with the Tera axle? I ask because the drag link is flipped in that picture but the trackbar appears to be in the factory location resulting in them not being in the same plane.

TeraFlex has a Tera44 that comes with a raised trackbar mount now. (Running down to take pic now).

This build has a drop bracket on the frame side so they ride in the same plane the bracket also has 2 different holes to fine tune the plane the track bar rides in.

The brackets we use on our PR44 are the same as our PR60 brackets and thickness has never been an issue. We don't use cheap stamped brackets like you'll see on some housings. If it had proven to be a failure point it would have been remedied years ago.

One of the reasons we went with 1/2" tubes on our ProRock44 Unlimited housing was to retain use of axle tube seals. For some users, this is an important option. We've also found our customers appreciate the thicker tubing when they are welding on additional brackets (for custom suspensions).

TeraFlex uses the same 1/4" thick CNC laser cut brackets on both the Tera 44's and CRD60 Axles. The Tera44's allow customers to use stock inner axle seals and a outer shield is in the works.

So your axles are not air locker/e-locker specific?

TeraFlex offers a Rubicon OEM replacement housings to re-use all the stock Rubicon parts. The non Rubi housings is for ARB's etc to be installed in.

We can help with this question.

When ordering the Tera44 front housing for Jason's JK - we ordered the JK Rubi version so he could run JK specific gears and an ARB 157. The Tera44 came ready for the E-Locker. Because we put the ARB in Jason's housing - we had to drill a hole for the ARB fitting.

An ARB 147 and non JK specific ring and pinion gears are correct for that application.

You guys with drainplugs ever rip one out while crawling over rocks?

The toyota drainplugs are pretty notorious for catching a rock, ripping out and dumping gear oil all over the trail. Happened to me once, I've since welded mine up and plated over them.

You will love it. Jason installed his Tera44 housing Friday and had it ready for wheeling Saturday. Ease of install plus compatibility with other industry leading aftermarket parts gives the Tera44 a 10/10.

Any word from either of them yet? I know I would like to have one for my pr44.

Not sure about the Tera housing, but there is a big FAQ for the PR44.

11. Is the ProRock 44 available with a Dana 60 wheel end?

Yes, the ProRock 44 is available with a Dana 60 wheel end. There are several advantages including larger axle shafts, u-joints, ball joints, and a true locking manual hub. These configurations are made to order and sold as a custom assembly. Please contact a Dynatrac sales representative for
additional information.

17. Can I get a ProRock 44 axle with a half ton truck style wheel end and a locking hub?

Yes, we have built ProRock 44 Axle assemblies with a traditional full size pickup Dana 44 steering knuckle, spindle and hub. These axle assemblies are sold as custom builds on a made to order basis. Please contact a member of the Dynatrac sales staff for additional information if you are interested in one of these assemblies.

Bare ProRock 44 housings are available from a few of our distributors immediately and some can also do full builds very quickly (as quickly as a week). Our current lead time on a full build is 5-6 weeks.
