Who has the PSC or ORFAB cross member?

Been looking at these recently. Running a Poly skid system but concerned about weight and access. Anyone melded one of these beefed up cross members into someone else's skid system?

I have the PSC crossmember and it worked fine with my Rockhard skids.

I have the OR-FAB crossmember and it is an exact copy of the factory one just built super beefy. I have a skid row skid attached and have beat the hell out of both and the OR-FAB crossmember has held up perfect. I highly recommend it.

If the Poly skid system uses the factory mounting holes in the cross member, then ours will work. The weight difference between the factory cross member and ours is 14Lbs, but if you're like me and have (repeatedly) bent your factory cross member, the extra strength is worth every pound. Give us a call if you have any other questions.

Whih skid are you running? Our full system replaces the cross member with 3/16 all boxed construction.

Our budget skid for use with RE longarms & similar is based off the stock crossmember & ties into stock mounting holes.

I'm running the orfab xmember with a combination of purejeep and rockhard skids...they all get along very nicely.

2008 X 2-door, 35" Duratacs, Clayton Long-arm, geared and locked

2012 Rubi 2-door, 37" Nittos, Method Beadlocks, JKS Suspension, JCR everything

What I ended up doing is adapting a Rockhard tank skid to the Poly skid system. Pulled the Poly (PITA!) skids first, then re-installed the stock x-member. Mounted the RH4X4 tank skid. Removed everything and reinstalled the Poly (PITA!) skids. Removed RH4X4's tank skid mounting spacer at the t-case skid mount, reinstalled the tank skid with the side bolts. Drilled & tapped the Poly skid for the forward RH4X4 12mmx1.5 tank skid bolts and bolted them down. Made up a mounting spacer for the t-case skid bolt and will use a button head bolt. Looks like it was made for this app!

Made my own with 2"x4"x1/4" wall box. Used to the old one for the degree bends and all the measurements for the holes. 2 hours later, all welded up, solid piece, $60. The thing is all scratched to hell, zero dents.

I just installed the PSC cross member this weekend, work well with the River Raider Skid Plates.
