Fender/ Bumper Mods

So I had some time off this week and that means I get to thinking, and with Jeep Beach coming up I decided to change the rig up a bit. I Decided to Chop both front and rear bumpers and chop the fenders and guts. Also undercoated the after product of the fender chop and also a 3" rock ledge along the bottom. This is basically a step before my broke ass can get the bumpers and etc.

Input is always welcome.

Thanks for viewing.

Grge L.

Sorry last 2 were taken 2 days before fenders were done with a crappy camera I guess

3 questions.

Do you have any better pictures of your rear bumper? How did you do your front? I want to do that to one and/or both of mine.

Do you know of any writeups on cutting our bumpers?

I believe it's that door guard stuff that you press onto the edge of car doors. It has adhesive in the channel and stick to the edge. I was thinking about doing something similar but more Bushwacker looking...

here's the writeup i first saw:
Nice looking stock stubby for 6 dollars...

Use truck door edging...pepboys has it for 5 bucks...as for the front bumper i chopped mine with a air cutoff wheel and reused the ends as caps...youre gonna loose the mounts in the cut to secure the plastic to the metal bumper...i used marine tex to secure the plastic to the metal...its rock solid now...
