being that they mount right to the body i think the extra cost of DOM would not be worth it we have made many sets of these out of .120 wall and beat the hell out of them and they are fine

waste of good product on a non-structural piece.

The last set of sliders I saw made of .129 wall were on my buds Toy and they bent to ka-ka from rocks. That's why I asked.

Any problems with the added weight of the bars and also a persons weight (if using as a step) being to much for the body mounts ?

There isnt too much difference in the DOM vs the ESW as it isnt a structural part. as far as testing goes we have about 6 sets out now and no one has had a single problem with them.

As far as using them as steps i weigh 260 and can jump up and down on them with no problem. Dr.Dirty has placed the full weight of his jeep up against some nasty rocks and other than taking the pint off them and putting a few gouges in the metal we haven't had a single failure.

I have yet to mount them but I bought a set from Mohave Green that look very similiar to yours. He called them Dirty Fab sliders. Dont know if its possibly your work or Dr Dirty's or just a copy but they sure seam to be good quality.

Yes, Dr.Dirty and I collaborated on these sliders about a year ago, once the decision was made to build and sell more JK parts on the forum we folded it into the Finishlinewest brand.

Dr.Dirty and I have built a few vehicles together and his input is invaluable, unfortunately he has a full time job with pay i cant match yet so until all you martha fockers buy more crap i cant hire him full time yet!!

Seriously though he puts in some tough hours here when he is off work and hopefully soon he'll work here full time.

If I didn't already have a off-road fab shop that I regularly work with, I'd probably buy them. Look good though.
