ShrockWorks Sliders

2007 Jeep Wrangler Rock Sliders / Jeep JK Rocker Guards

The legendary frame mounted ShrockBars Rock sliders are now available for the new 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK 4 door and 2 door.

This design of 2"x2" 3/16" wall thickness square tube and 1.75" .120 wall round DOM tubing has been in use on hundreds of vehicles over the past several years and has proven itself to be nearly indestructable in the only testing that counts, real world hard core trails.

I received my Shrockworks 4-door sliders March 13th. They came well packaged in a huge box. I had to remove them from the packaging to carry them home for the install.

The slider sticks out far enough to be functional without being in the way of normal getting in and out of the Jeep. You can use them as a step and you can use them as a stepping stool with your feet sideways on the bar for accessing any above racks or easy top removal. I would recommend a strip of no-slip material though to aid you in stability while standing on the step.

The install isn't complete until it looks like this.

I need to go get some no-slip tape to put on the top then the install will be complete. The instructions says to use the help of a friend but I was impatient as I did the install on a Friday so I helped myself. I would say that the sliders can easily be installed in about 2-4 hours working at a comfortable pace with help.

The fit and finish of the sliders is fantastic. The kit was pretty easy to install and the only "hard" part is marking and drilling your holes but if you can mark and drill a hole you can install this kit.

The sliders are solid and I have no doubt they will provide years of service and save my body from boulders. They do what they advertise to do and they look good doing it.
