Fellow JKOwners we are pleased to inform you that after a many months of designing, engineering and testing we are ready to release our Cummins 4BT Diesel conversion kit for JK Wranglers. This exciting conversion kit is something that many of us have been dreaming about for quite some time. We are teaming up with Kenny from River Raider Off Road to release this kit and perform these conversions at our two facilities. The DIY kit is now available for pre-order and will begin shipping in 6 to 8 weeks. This kit is very comprehensive and comes complete with detailed instructions. Much time has been spent in the designing and engineering of this system in order to achieve a from the factory feel both in appearance and function. Our team of electrical engineers have worked non stop for months designing the complex electrical system required in order to have the factory Wrangler wiring system interface perfectly with the 4BT Diesel unit. This has resulted in a simple painless DIY conversion kit that will unleash your Wranglers full driving and fuel economy potential. Q) WHAT ENGINE APPLICATION WILL WORK BEST?
A) BREAD TRUCK 4BT WORKS BEST BUT YOU CAN BUY A LONG BLOCK AND WE CAN HELP SUPPLY PARTS NECESSARY
Q) HOW MUCH SHOULD I PAY FOR AN ENGINE ?
A) PRICES VARY BUT A GOOD RUNNING COMPLETE ENGINE CAN BE PURCHASED FOR AROUND $3,000. A REBUILT ENGINE CAN BE PURCHASED COMPLETE FOR AROUND $6,800.
Q) WHAT TYPE OF TRANSMISSIONS CAN I USE WITH KIT?
A) WE RECOMEND THAT YOU USE RAPTOR 700R STAGE 3 FOR AUTOMATIC. FOR MANUAL WE RECOMEND NV4500.
Q) WHAT IS THE COST OF THE TRANSMISSION?
A) RAPTOR 700R STAGE 3 IS APPROX. $2,600 WITH SHIPPING IT COMES WITH TORQUE CONVERTOR. THE NV4500 COST $1,900 BUT ALL COMPONETS NECCESARY TO RUN NV4500 EQUALS AND EXCEEDS PRICE OF THE ADAPTER FOR THE AUTOMATIC APPLICATION. EVEN THOUGH THE COST OF THE NV4500 IS LESS YOU HAVE A CORE CHARGE AND EXTRA PARTS NECCESARY THAT EQUATE TO THE $700 DOLLAR DIFFERENCE MINUS THE ENGINE TO TRANSMISSION ADAPTOR IN KIT FOR AUTOMATIC.
Q) WHAT LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED TO DO THIS CONVERSION?
A) WE HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO MAKE THIS CONVERSION AS SIMPLE AS IT CAN POSSIBLY BE. ON A SCALE OF 1 TO 10 FROM EASY TO
DIFFICULT I WOULD GIVE IT A 5. THE MOST DIFFICULT STEPS OF THE INSTALL ARE REMOVING OLD ENGINE MOUNTS, AND
REPLACING THEM WITH NEW AND THE ALINEMENT OF BELT FOR THE ALTERNATOR AND AC BRACKET ASSEMBLY.
Q) HOW MUCH DO WE CHARGE TO DO THE INSTALL IN OUR SHOP?
A) THE LABOR PORTION OF THE INSTALL IS APPROX $4,000 IN EITHER OUR FLORIDA SHOP OR OUR PENNSYLVANIA INSTALL FACILITY.
Q) HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECIEVE KIT ONCE ORDERED?
A) 4 TO 6 WEEKS.

Q) DO ALL THE FACTORY GAUGES AND EQUIPMENT WORK AFTER CONVERSION?
A) EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT DID BEFORE, EXCEPT CRUISE CONTROL AND WE GENERALLY REMOVE ESP SYSTEM ( CLIENTS CHOICE).
