Purejeeep JK 4-door Rocker Guards

Well, it looks like they finally came to be - and since a few pre-orders got canceled, the ones I bought today will be from the first shipment

So, my PS order was canceled (this time they said they had no idea when they'd ever ship my rocker armor ordered in March) - I went ahead and got these.

Order should be in within a week and a half, and I'll post some pics when I get them on.

I probably will - I'm planning on them coming in before the Shiloh trip, so I can try 'em out. Hell, I hope they get here this week, so I can put 'em on Saturday and bounce 'em a few times @ the Creek on Sunday.

How's your injury doing? Healing up OK?

I'm back together again, and my jaw is no-longer wired shut, and my vision seems to be fine. Going to be a couple months before I am 100 percent though.

Damn man, glad to hear it's getting better! I'll keep ya posted on when the rockers come in. I'll have to buy ya some beer, and you know, they're so much better when ya don't have to drink 'em through a straw!

Here they are, installed - one beast of an install. After I realized I couldn't even so much as lift the box, my shop offered to install them for 2 hours of labor. Turns out it took closer to 12 hours, the doors, interior plastic planels, and carpet needed to be removed and LOTS of holes drilled through the body panels, took two floor jacks to hold them in place. They also had to hammer out the big dents in my rocker panels as they were right where the bolts went through. (A couple from a big rock that required over-painting on the passenger side, and some standard bends from high-centering on the stock step-rails on the driver's side.)

But they are freaking sweet =)

those look really good. i now have a new "want" for mine. my only worry about sliders that bolt to the body is flex issues(pulling/pushing on the sheet metal). let us know how well they work.

Totally dude - I have amassed an unusual predilection (well, maybe not _that_ unusual =) for electronics this year. I'm down for anything that might just get me shocked

When ya wanna do it?

Well, from what I understand, there's a support bar that runs down the length on the bottom (between the plating and the bottom of the body tub) that mounts into some standard holes, amongst others.

I do know that I've gotten out and jumped on them every day since I got 'em, and the whole jeep rocks and shakes around, I don't feel any give under my feet.

Than again, I only weigh 140#s, so...

These are the sliders that I want! I love the way that they go right up to the ledge. But now you got me worried, 12 hrs. to install!

...somebody wuvs you! If she's hot, then please post up!

You know i'm kidding! Those rails look nice...(at least the pass side). I like how they look really tucked up to the body for maximum clearance. Your jk is becoming a monster.
