Here's a teaser pic of our new JK Low-Profile Winch Hoop Stubby Front Bumper we have in the works. Were hoping to start accepting pre-orders within 2-3 weeks for these and have them in stock very shortly after. Our website will be updated as soon as were ready to start accepting orders. If youd like us to contact you when theyre available please drop us an email.

FYI Our Pre-Runner Front Bumpers are currently in stock ready for shipment. You can see those here:

Here's a shot of our current Pre-Runner model, which uses the same base bumper, the only difference is going to be the hoop (2" diameter on the winch hoop vs 1.75" on the Pre-Runner, and it's a shorter, single piece).

We have more pictures of the Pre-Runner bumper available on our website.

Looks good...
If I could make a couple suggestions though...It would be nice to have that wall thats behind the winch area in front of the winch instead. That way the winch could sit back farther, allowing the bumper to be shallower and you could use the wall to mount the fairlead too, and maybe some aftermarket lights
Right now the winch plate/fairlead holder looks like an after thought IMO

Im still looking for that perfect bumper to replace my Mopar someday soon

07' Graystone Unlimited Rubicon
Rubicon Express 4.5" Long Arm kit
35" BFG mud's and 17" Pro Comp wheels
Warn 9.5ti winch
Shrockworks stubby front bumper
Mopar rear bumper/tire carrier
Poly Performance rocker guards
Skid Row engine skid
and a whole lot more over priced stuff

I like it a lot...3 conditions for me to consider...1-Has to be direct bolt on. 2-No winch option since I have no need for a winch. 3-Price...$400 range is OK, but when bumpers start getting in the $700+ range, I look the other way...absolutely ridiculous to come up with a bumper price, which in some cases is even 4 figures. Oh...before I forget, the cutouts for fog lamps should come standard with high quality reflectors for those who have JK's without fogs, or do not intend to install same. Looks like you have a winner.

That's a nice looking bumper.

Now build a nice fitted set for my WJ front and rear, and I'll be happy.

Thanks for the interest guys!

I realized in my original post I didnt mention a price point. These will be sold for the same price as our current Pre-Runner Model - $599.95 + shipping.

Id like to respond to a few comments below:

The wall behind the bumper is there to keep a nice flush fit against the grille. If we were to eliminate that, there would be a rather large, ugly gap between the bumper and grille. Furthermore theres really no room to move the winch farther back, its pretty tight to the grille already.

The reason the fair lead mount is not welded to the bumper, is so the bumper doesnt look too out of place if used without a winch. A customer may use the winch mounting bolts to mount a set of lights if their not using the winch mount, and it should look pretty good (we dont have pictures of anyone whos done this yet).

The bumper certainly is a direct bolt on, and the winch mount is modular, however theres no way wed be able to sell this for $400 without taking production overseas which were not willing to do. Were proud to say our products are made in the USA.

As I mentioned above we have set pricing at $599.95 + shipping, and the optional Blocker Beam Skid Plate runs an additional $75. We feel thats very competitively priced.

On the same note, we cant include lights without further raising the price of the bumper. We have a Mopar account with pretty good discounts and can certainly get the stock JK Fog Lights for those who dont have the lights already. Im really pretty happy with the performance of the stock fogs. If anyone is interested in purchasing lights with the bumper, please contact me and Ill be glad to check into this further to see what we can resell those for.

Thanks again for the interest guys!

Jason

They are currently in stock! Here's a link for pricing and ordering information:

http://www.redrockfab.com/shop/jk-fr...nt-bumper.html

In regards to pics, since we have so few Low-Profile Front Bumpers available from this first production run we won't be mounting one on either of our JK's for pictures. Instead we're allocating all of the first units for resale and are hoping one of our customers will send us some pics once installed. If not we'll install one and take pics after the 2nd production run.

Here are some comparison pics of the Low-Profile and Pre-Runner bumpers non-mounted side to side to give a better idea of how they look.

That is one fine looking bumper...the low profile hoop I will say has won me over the upcoming MOPAR bumper with fog holes...one question...I don't intend to add fog lights, so....is there going to be something to fill the void so as to have a finished look...like a reflector, perhaps?

Lastly, I have the Skidrow front "skid" which mounts to the front cross member...will I be able to retain that skid?

Nice job...I really do like the bumper.

Edit: I notice on your web site, you mention free shipping on orders over a $100.00...why the + shipping on this new bumper?

Thank you!!

There are a few options here.

We can provide a block off plate that will bolt behind the fog light bezel to cap off the opening, but since the bezel is welded to the bumper it will be recessed in there a little ways. Were not sure how good that will look. In regards to a reflector, you could use some reflective tape on the black plate (you would need to source that), or we could do a plate out of polished alum even. There would be a minimal charge associated with these plates. If youre interested, let me know if youd like a steel plate (painted black) or alum plate and Ill see what we can do.

Aside from those options I don't think we'll be offering anything else in the way of a lens or similar.

We are planning to offer a front bumper without light cutouts eventually, but we're not sure if we're going to design a new bumper or simply offer the same style without the lights and bezels. If you wanted the Low Profile bumper as is without the cutouts we could do that for you as a custom order from our next production run (allow 3-5 weeks probably).

We're probably a ways out before we come out with a different front bumper, as we're slammed with Rocker Guards and Tire Carriers currently. The custom order w/o fog cut outs, or the cap off plates, would likely be the only options we could turn around in a reasonable amount of time currently.

From what I can tell briefly looking at a few pics online, it appears that skid relies on the stock front bumper and I dont think it will work. You might be able to modify it to fit but Im not sure.

That is a policy on Red Rock 4x4. Red Rock Fabrication is a separate company and we are not able to offer that policy. Nowhere is the free shipping offer mentioned on Red Rock Fabs website.

The front bumpers look great.

Do you have any updates on the attachments for the rear bumper like the trail rack and jerry can mounts or hi-lift mount? I would really like to see a pic of those installed.

I know they are finalizing the rear carrier now. They should be complete soon. Last I heard they were considering mounting it horizonaly. They found mund vertically it sticks up to high, few inches past the roof. I think Jerry can holders are being considered as a modualr option.

I am sure Jason will chime in here soon though and give the offical answer. The one thing I do know though is thier fab guy tries every option and really puts a lot of thought into the desicion. It is really the main reason I have been liking this company. I am sure what ever they decide on will be the best option with everything considered.

As Scott said Kelly originally tried a vertical mount for the hi-lift but it was just too tall. He's tweaking the tire carrier a little again this week and I should have pictures up within 1-2 weeks of the new tire carrier and hi-lift mount. We've been meaning to get some pictures up for the past few weeks however we had some Rocker Guard orders that were under extremly tight deadlines that got in the way a bit. We're now focused again on the Tire Carriers.

We eventually will release some form of modular Gerry Can holders but they'll be a ways out. I don't have an ETA or any pricing information at this time. I can tell you they will be a modular accessory that can easily be added to our tire carrier at any point in time.

I'll be sure to post pics of the production ready design, as well as the hi-lift mount as soon as we're 100% finalized. The bumper is completed, we're just making a few tiny changes to the tire carrier currently.

Is this some sort of optical illusion, or is the low-profile winch hoop bumper a little wider than the other bumper?

The bumpers are 100% identical other than the hoops. The Low Profile hoop is a hair wider, and 2" vs 1.75" on the Pre-Runner.

Thanks - must just look that way because the low profile is in the foreground. Is it possible to get this with no hoop? Is there any cost savings?

Certainly! You can see pictures of one here:

JK Low-Profile Winch Hoop Front Bumpers - Now Accepting Pre-Orders!

They run $45 less and are considered custom built, which means we require a 50% deposit up front and they are non-refundable. We haven't seen much interest in these w/o a hoop yet which is why they're custom built for the time being.

Nothing yet unfortunately, but we've sold out of the first batch so I'm hoping a picture might pop up soon.

If not, we have more in production, and will install one on one of our vehicles once completed.
