Poison Spyder crossmember

I need to replace my cross member on my jeep and am checking out the poison spyder. It says on their website that it can be made to any angle. I would like to have the angle shortened so that I gain an inch of ground clearance. Right now, the ome crossmember is almost straight across so the transfer case is rubbing the floor pan or body of the jeep. Has any one switched to this and if so, did you keep the stock angles or have them shortened.

I have a jeep and it goes over shit.

Carolina4x4 in Greenville will make a custom one for you. They made one for a buddy that lives up there. It's stout.

I have a stock one and unless you have moved the exhaust cross pipe you won't gain much clearance.

Clayton off road has a new one now that includes control arm mounts.

Some build info here:

Just about everything is moved up on his jeep. All of it has been accomplished naturally too.

We could probably build one if we wanted to. I never really looked to closely at it to see what all would be involved.

Levellinebrad-

Good Morning- Unfortunately, we do not sell "custom" cross members. What we sell is a factory replacement cross member.

Man I wanted to use the welder and the plasma cutter. Well Friday night might get interesting. RCV's in mine and a Poison Spyder Crossmember on yours. I think we can get it done. Then we can go test some shit on Saturday.

Rolled edges, don't have to find the metal, 1 hour labor vs 8 - 10 hours. A little over $200 shipped to my door. Sorry Jeremy but that one was a no brainer.

All valid points. It's gonna be too hot this weekend anyway to work on stuff.

Once you have it in your hands, you are going to be so happy you did it instead building it.
Its a beast.

Mine was really tight in the brackets, so I bent them out slightly and then the bolt bent them back as it was tightened.

Can you guys do a webcam of the install?

Brads Jeep is so twisted and beat up, it's gonna be entertaining to watch you guys do this install. Maybe get the fire department out there with some of their extrication equipment to help you!!
