yeah, especially with cold water splashing all over your arse....that is a wierd position to be in to shoot a gun, looks like fun, but alos looks a little precarious....This is for you and all that serve....
dyolfknip-Who'd you serve with? I worked with some 2PPCLI and JTF2 guys back in 02 You guys had much better MRE's then us. I loved the salmon
I was 1 PPCLI.....changed trades in 03 and now am an Electronics Tech. going over to Afghanistan late this year or early next. You know it is funny, after 17 years of eating our IMPs, I prefer the US MREs. Either or they both suck for extended periods of time.
Ya every time I start to complain about gun control here in CA I just think of you poor bastards up north.
LOL....thing is we never really had the freedoms you guys have, so we dont miss it that much up here LOL. It isnt exactly like the movie Bowling for Columbine did, but there is a definitive lack of gun killings up here for sure. I like the fact I can flip the bird to someone and not have to worry about them shooting me.
Taken a few years back (notice the headline on the newspaper) didnt get any while we were shooting but was fun as hell. This was one summer when I went on leave to visit my uncle in GA. I think he's waiting for Civil War part 2 to kick off.
All I got to shoot in the Army (besides Basic training) was the M-16A2, M-249 and the M-203 Grenade launcher attachment. SO all I knew about rifles was "Cheek to stock" and M-16's have almost no kick. Well the rifle 4 up from the bottom DOES kick and I had the scope right on my eyebrow when I fired it. Still sporting the scar heh.
