Question Arc / spark noise?

So I have an '07 4 dr, after sitting for a week I started it up and I kept hearing a popping noise, upon closer examination it sounded as though it was coming from the passenger side of the engine and the closer I got it sounded like something shorting out or arcing. After it warmed up it seemed to go away. Went out of town for another week and the jeep sat again without being started, when I came home and started it same thing, sparking and arcing then goes away after a few miles. Any ideas or others having the same problem?

Check it when it is dark and see if you can see the spark.

Check the exhaust manifold could have a crack in it.
