Anyone install heated seats in their JK?

Hmm, heated seats, warm buns.

So who has installed heated seats? Where did you get them? I've found a couple places but figure I have a bit before I jump on this project as I'm working on my trailer and multiple battery wiring.

Mostly fishing to see if anyone used the existing heated seat stuff in the JK or if it is just a empty spot on the fuse box that doesn't have the wiring already in place.

I'm going to add them (per my doctor's suggestion) and then claim it on Schedule A

A guy from jkforum added heated seats to his JK. He ordered 'em from http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/pedecafiunhe.html, paid an upholstery shop to put the pads in the seats and he did all the wiring himself.

I had them in a Tahoe and a few others, I found the sensation of having my backside warm and my front side cool odd to say the least. I do not plan on repeating it. You mileage may vary. The wife loved them.

I have neoprene seat covers. I wonder if heated seats would work with these or if they'd hold most/all of the heat in, and away from my cold ass??

the "seat covers" on the factory seats look like they should come right off and just install the pads under them.

This is what I'm looking at for seat heaters. I like the 3 position setting on these.

I had my dealer install the Mopar heated seat kit. They work well, but the control switches broke in the first week of use. New control switches are on order and will be replaced under warranty as soon as they arrive.

They are made by Check Corp and are basically the Check Corp premium kit.
