factory sub question

So I started my build today and started with pulling out the interior. I pulled the sub out and found 4 wires going to it, just wanted to see if anyone knows why there are not just two like every other sub I have seen. I didnt pull it apart, but its not heavy enough to have an amp in it, so I figured I would see if anyone knows- Thanks

Well, the amp is located to the left of the center console. For the 4 wires i dont have any idea . I havent tear that appart yet. You can find a detailed Fig and Index Type document here . http://www.berrysprinter.com/e-fiche...06-09/08jk.pdf
This is very helpfull to have .
