jeep Vs toyotas

A couple guys in our wheeling group have built up Toyotas. I noticed on our last trip a couple had stickers that say, "jeep killer". Needless to say we got a bit of a rivalry going. (Those yotas aren't killing anything by the way)
We got a trip set up for next month and decided to play a prank on said yotas.
We got stickers made that say, "I wish I was a jeep". We are gonna sneak the sticker onto the rear of each yota before the trail run so they will be on there all day.

All the jeeps have been built by there owner/driver. Yotas bought already built.

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions? It's all in fun. Lol

I have seen some capable Toyotas (mostly trucks) that have been heavily modified. It's funny because in order to be capable their modification have mimiced some of Jeep's design/concept such as link suspension, coil springs, coil overs, etc. But for Toyotas that still run IFS or leaf springs they still have some limitations...

They had better be really good friends. I think the title of this thread, not the content sums it up for me.

the back-halved pickup? Sure just about anything is capable when you cut it in half and replace it with tube right where you want it. That's a Truggy!

Just have the stickers made with magnetic backs. That way the joke is still there, but it's a "no harm no foul" kind of prank.

I remember the first ass-whippin' I ever saw firsthand. I was about 8 on a wheeling trip with my Dad, and a guy bought a sticker in the gas station and stuck it on another guy's rig in the group. It did not go over well at all. I think it said something about farting.

Tread lightly.

Unless it's something that would come straight off without any effort like a magnet, a sticker on my rig would earn you a punch in the ball sack.

I bought a truck a few years ago and it had the dealership sticker on it, I took it home and took the sticker right off. Brought the truck back a couple days later for a detail and they put another sticker back on. Brought it back again and made them remove it and detail it over again. It was actually a really big pain in the ass to even get them to just remove the stupid sticker.

just throw some tape on the back of the sticker so it's easy to take off. if they get mad at that i probably wouldn't hang with em too much. maybe i'm too used to pranks who knows

We have a guy in our local club with an old built FJ... seriously built... all by him and he wheels the shit out of it.... so he gets our respect.

But he is overboard on the Jeep/Yota rivalry to the point of extremes...but hey, its all in fun and we all have a blast. I dont care what your driving if it its on the trails with me !

thanks for the comments. we are a pretty tight group so the prank wouldn't be a big deal. that being said i do like the magnet idea a lot better(saves the clean up) its all in fun. i don't care what it is you are running on the trail. only thing that i hate is when someone talks all day about haw capable the rig is, then you spend all day pulling the out/ over stuff.

FJ Cruiser guys talk the most crap. I had an '08 FJC Trail Teams SE for 2years. I was a great SUV but to say it is better than a Wrangler off-road is delusional.

This was a member of the Toyota Trail Team. The FJC has a 3" spacer lift. He was stuck for quite some time before I got my camera going. There was an fjcruiserforum member with us in a stock TJ Rubicon. The Rubi went up this hill without hesitation.

This was my FJC TT with 3" springs. The front driver side tire is off the ground. The IFS has crap flex.

I'll go ahead and assume the TJ didn't get the applause and cheers?

Not as much.
I've been wanting to go back to Hidden Hills to hit that spot. I didn't try it in the FJC. The other Trail Team driver that tried it first was winched out. Those guys got their FJs for free. I was still paying for mine and I had to drive it home.
