I bought this 2 weeks ago but decided to go with a new desktop instead of laptop..
The laptop is in PERFECT condition. Pretty cool metal construction, not plastic.

All I have done to it was turn it on, initialized Windows and did the Blackviper vista tweeks listed on www.blackviper.com (Basicly turning off unneeded processes)

I can set it back to Factory if buyer wishes.

man, my laptop is dying quickly and i really need a new one... but i swore off hp... ive had nothing but trouble with them...

Huh... I'm just the opposite, I have had nothing but good luck with HP. My new i7 core Desktop is an HP as well.

I do have to say, this is probably the best constructed lappy I have ever had including 2 Toshibas in the past.

I just don't need a lappy, especially a 17" desktop replacement with a full keyboard including number pad lappy right now. If anything I will get a small netbook to have in the bedroom and bathroom to surf the web with and nothing more. This is a bit of overkill for that.

All of our desktop/laptop/printer deployment for our IS department at my company (5 hospital health system) use HP. They have good reliability and reliable warranty coverage.

That's a sweet looking laptop at a good price too!
