I had wanted to try layering vinyl so I was playing today
Came out pretty good for the first time I've tried it.

like the idea, not on the door though, but it does look good for layering

how big of vynal can you cut?

kicking the idea around of doing a full graphic job
nice thing about vinyl is I can always peel it off if it sucks or I get tired of it
problem is it will pretty much disappear with the doors off

i like the tracks. i might be looking for vinyl for the fncing on my pontoon boat when i rip it apart at the end of this year for a rebuild

can you make the new mt/r kevlar tire tread sticker? and how much a foot?

doing the tire treads for mine now

Heh yeah I got caught up workin on it and the sun was up before I knew it, but I wasn't done so I just kept goin :bounce:

So here's the finished product
I decided one track per side, 2 looked too busy to me (plus I ran low on black vinyl)
My all black on red subtle theme just went out the freakin window :thefinger:

I like it. Looks great. :beer:

I wasn't completely sure I would like it even after the photoshop I did above with the 2 tracks, but I'm diggin it a lot more "in the flesh" so to speak.

We'll see how long till I get bored and tear 'em all off and do something different :D

Kinda cool thing is that when I run with no doors, theres almost no graphics - it's back to the subtle black on red theme.

Cool looking, you know you could do that in 3m reflective vinyl and even use 3m reflective vinyl on the black areas, that would be pretty sick looking at night :smokin:

I'm gonna do a bunch of graphics for the local Sheriff's Office in reflective black and had planned to redo all of my black vinyl in reflective when it comes in :grinpimp:

Well I did it by going on ebay and buying a vinyl cutter and figuring it out as I went :grinpimp:

you could always find someone who knows photoshop and do a digital concept of what you want done on your jeep then have them create the image file then send it off to get cut

other way would be to goto a sign shop, have them do it for ya $$

ahh so either way there is $$ involved. What is it with people and their obsession with recieving green paper for items instead of just giving them away? twjwd :shaking::laughing:

i had donald at pixeldecals.com do it all for me and it is very inexpensive
