Just noticed a new front bumper by Olympic on 4WD.com. It's called the "Rescue Bumper" and the price looks nice. One thing I'm not so keen on is the reflectors. Looks like poor-man's lights. They say that they'll have the ability to install the stock fog lights in the future. Also, there are no d-ring mounts. I like the minimalist design though.

I like the price and the overall design, but like you, do not like the reflectors. If they were lights it'd be a winner.
As for the lack of D-Rings next time you see a H2 or H3 in a parking lot take a good look at the OEM D-Rings they have. The bolt spacing looks similar and with a little modification they MAY match right with those four bolts. Hmmmm... :smokin:

got olympic has got to have the stupidest engineers out there
other then the products being butt ugly they now decided to have reflectors on the front bumpers??
I like stubby bumpers but that is TOO stubby.
Having a plain square end delete like that looks cheap.

Simple and inexpensive, I like it! Other than the reflectors on it I think it's a nice option for the minimalist look. I'd put some d-ring attachment points on it to finish it off.

I'm guessing that those bolts are going right to the frame mounts so the spacing would be the same as the oem hooks or the PJ bolt-on shackle mounts.

I got this bumper this summer and like it very much, 1/4 inch plate VS 3/16 of many others and I swapped in blue lens , I have a Mile Marker SE 9500 winch and had to customize the solenoid mount to fit the hoop, a intregal solenoid would have been a better choice(the winches w/ solenoid over the spool) I used my stock tow hooks inverted, couldn't scrape up the 90 frogskins for PureJeeps bolt-on D ring mounts. see pics on my profile.
1/4 inch plate VS 3/16.
overkill IMO

It all comes down to price, how much is this thing?
