I have a Tuffy center console on the way and am looking at a full sized CB to drop into it. I am going to go with a Cobra and am interested in the 29 LTD Bluetooth (http://www.cobra.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=419&category_ID=30) or the 29 NW WX (http://www.cobra.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=320&category_ID=30) version.
Anyone have any details on the Bluetooth version? It sounds interesting but is a "first".... so I am a little concerned about BT quality, bugs etc... I have SAT radio so I can get weather just about anywhere.

For those lurking I found a pretty good review of the BT version:
I am leaning towards this one now.
On the Tuffy - I know there is a hole for the mic, can you route the mic plug through the hole or do you have to buy a pigtail to make it work?

I've got the 29 NWWX radio. Its a really nice unit but its got more bells and whistles than I really need.
My big limiter right now is the antenna. Its a Firestick 24" mounted inside the cab where the tree branches wont get it. It's mounted in the right rear corner of the hard top to the roll bar. Surprisingly, although its got an SWR of 1:1.1 on channel 20, because of its location, has a dead zone directly in front of the Jeep. I'll be moving to a mount on the CHMSL this summer outside the vehicle to see if that helps.
As far as the radio itself, yep its nice, especially at night. I wouldn't pay anything extra for the bluetooth though. My phone works very well as a phone. Running it through the CB seems too gimmicky to me.

I ended up getting the Cobra 29 BT and I love it. All the great features of the 20 plus the ability to leave your phone stowed and talk via BT. I tried it with the doors off and could hear just fine. The wife said that there was a little wind noise but she could still hear me just fine. I mounted the unit in my tuffy console and ran a small speaker and stuffed it under the roll bar padding over my head.
