I am looking to replace the idler pulley and was wondering if there are any after market idler pulleys that might offer any performance advantages over the stock pulley. The stock pulley has some wear on it that caused the serpentine belt to shred. Also I'm running a Hesco supercharger so I have an additional idler pulley with a longer serpentine belt ACDelco 6k1099.
Tim, being the Uboat commander is the expert on idler pulleys lol. He's replaced more due to mud and water than anybody else on here. If there is a better one he will know it.
Anyone with experience with any of these pulley's...
I'm considering the DAYCO no slack pully. Dayco has two pulleys... one standard and one a little more $ with a write up on better polymers, seals and such.
When you going to start making them for the rest of us?
