Anyone going? My group is arriving in Moab on Tuesday and leaving Sunday or Monday. Should have gears and maybe even new tires for the trip :bounce:

Fuel was MUCH more expensive last year...it was brutal. This year the price will be about $1 less per gallon...hopefully. How far is it from Bakersfield?

It is about 750 miles one way, so it is a drive 12 hours. I would guess about $300 in fuel for the entire trip at the current rates. However, once you leave this screwed up state you dont get rapped as bad at the pump. Looking forward to hooking up with a few guys. I will be coming with my father in law (LJ).

I think the condo is about 809 miles from my front door step. We have to battle the mountains and sometimes that can make a really long trip out of the deal. See you there.
