Why cant we type the word **** on this forum? I mean, we're allowed to tear each other to shreds in threads (hehehe rhymes) and we can even bash the paying vendors. And I LOVE that freedom. But come on, we're not kids. Let us use the word ****.

I think the biggest reason may be for work filters. They get a lot of traffic during the day from people at work and if there was ****, **** and ****sucker all over this forum they would lose a TON of traffic

yep. My work filters block websites with excessive language or porn style material (hence the 35% tags in place). They also block emails with the same issues. I don't surf here on the clock but during lunch I do.

I would think some of our IT types could help clarify this.

The work filter sounds like the most logical so far. I only answer to myself and customers at work, but I still don't mix business with pleasure.

EDIT: OH, and I always try to think of what I teach my kids... choose better, more descriptive words.

Even though sometimes **** <- (just real asterisks) are the best words. LOL
