My club (Mid Florida) is wanting to join as well. They are wanting to turn this into some sort of forrest clean up to. Anyone up for that or we just ridn dirty.

Talked to some folk at the M&G tonite in winter haven. Some of them are coming up for this. Oh and I found out the campground: Big Scrub.

MORE DETAILS: Meeting at Big Scrub between 10-11am on Saturday morning. Leaving camp at 11am. We will incorporate this as a clean up as well as fun ride. A big group will be staying at Big Scrub Saturday night, breaking camp Sunday morning and moving over to Hardrock.

We have been discussing it for awhile now and the clock is now ticking at 2.5 weeks away!!


Here are the details...

Saturday February 21st
-Meet at Big Scrub Campgroung between 10am-11am to set up camp.
-Trail rides will start shortly after 11am. Depending on group size we will decide whether to split into groups.

Yup.. I will be staying at the Homewood Suites off 200 and 75... they got kitchens and utensils.. so its kinda like camping... :thefinger:

I am bringing my camping gear but if it is in the low 30's Saturday night I might have to set-up camp on the floor of Hitmoney's kitchen!!:D

There's plenty a stocker can do at Hard Rock. Everything from mild to wild.

So I decided last minute to hit HR this morning. First time back out there on 37"s. :D I decided to take it easy since nobody else from my "club" came out(no rolling garage), but I did get to meet Rooster and alot of his club. Oh, and the "Sunshine State Area Leader" said hi too. Pretty good group out there today.

Brian - great to meet you yesterday, too! And, as Karn said - lots a stocker can do there - but I will warn you - you'll leave there wanting to do something to your jeep :) We did have a blast today. I will be posting pictures from yesterday and today out on the Mid-Florida Jeep Club site in the trail rides section.

Glad to hear those of you who went out there had a good time. Hard Rock is a blast and I'm looking forward to getting back there again. I've only got 3 days left in Alaska, so it won't be too much longer. :D

It was great to meet up with everyone the last 2 days. It was a great "joint venture". A lot of people were on the trails and it was cool to see old friends HitMoney, Moose and meet new ones Ruskin, Brian, H8T2W8T and his Mrs and then new friends from the "other" forum. Pics added soon.

Sucks though, cuz w/ my work schedule I cant get back over to Orlando til Friday! And I ahve to be in sebring friday nite. Gonna put some miles on those tires right off the bat.

I was sitting to the side of him and the sun was reflecting down the side of his Jeep. WOW! That thing looked like it had been thru one of those automatic car washes that had rocks stuck in the brissles. Man it was striped.

black is probably like my green..when it's dirty, itlooks like you're going to have a billion scratches...you get home and wash it and you find maybe 3 or 4.

Most the trails are wide. We chose to go off the beaten path to have more fun than we were having.
