Are there any specific tools you guys can think of that you need just for your Jeep?
I am trying to put together some deals for you guys and wanted to get your input. I was thinking like a recovery package, straps, shackles etc... But I thought who better to ask than you guys! Thanks for your help!

Socket for axle nut... 33mm I believe for the D44. Could be wrong though so might want to confirm it.

You may want to have a basic and a more compete kit. The problem I see is a kit would work for the novice driver better then the more experienced. They would be less likely to have some of the items. As we do more 4-wheeling we gather more items to fit what we should have.
Before going Off-highway you should have;
#1 A certified Instructor 4X4 Driving Class
#2 Know the 3 P’s - Patience, Plan and Practice
The remaining are in no special order. These are some of the list I give my students.
#1 A plan or itinerary left with a responsible person
#2 Extra Water
#3 Gloves - leather is best
#4 Shovel - short handle
#5 Hi-Lift Jack and base (and off-road kit)
#6 Bottle Jack (or Screw Jack)
#7 Chain (Grade 70 or better)
#8 Recovery strap (not a tow strap)
#9 Safety straps or Parachute
#10 “D” rings - 4 3/4 ton + rating minimum
#11 Tree Protector
#12 Snatch-block (pulley)
#13 Sand, Mud & Snow ladder
#14 Winch (hand or power)
#15 Tire Repair kit
#16 Air compressor or air bottle
#17 Extra fluids (oil, brake, trans. Etc.)
#18 Outside communications (Cell Phone, Satellite Phone, C.B. Radio, FRS Radio, Ham Radio)
#19 First Aid Kit
#20 Tool Kit
#21 Vehicles Owners Manual
These should be in the vehicle at all times. (some repeat from) above)
Spare Keys (hidden)
Jack
Lug wrench
Spare Tire
Mounted Tow Hooks
Recovery Strap
Shovel
Tire Pressure Gage
Air Compressor or air supply
First-Aid Kit
Compass
Flash Light
Trash Bags
Duct Tape
Cellular phone, C.B. or FRS Radio
Safety Flares
Light Rope (25')
Fire extinguisher
1 Gallon of Water
Solar Blankets
Pocket Knife or Survival Tool
Jumper Cables
Tarp
Matches
Gloves
Electrical Wire
Bailing Wire
Electrical Fuses
Baby Wipes
“Tool Box” with;
End Wrenches
Socket Set
Pliers
Adjustable Wrenches
Screw Drivers
Utility Knife
12 Volt electrical test light
Rags
Depending on what size and how complete you want to make the kit.
End Wrenches
Socket Set
Pliers
Adjustable Wrenches
Screw Drivers
Utility Knife
12 Volt electrical test light
Recovery Strap
Electrical Wire
Bailing Wire
Electrical Fuses
Safety Flares
Tire plug kit or Fix-a-flat

Probably a tool kit i.e. the tools you need for the Jeep, not just some thrown in a box

Great first post Frenchie, welcome to the infamous JKO, would you guys be interested in a sort of 1 stop kit?
I know there is no way to get everything for everyone, but what i was thinking was a kit with some tools and recovery stuff in it?

Frank, do field swap kits with parts.
Example:
Walked off UJ cap: UJ and stub shaft (optional), 35mm socket, 13mm 12 point socket, step by step instructions

You only need take those off once. After that most of use don’t bolt them back on since they will only fall off if you are upside-down (at which point you have way more to worry about).

That's what I was thinking of. Having those certain tools for when you break a part that needs those tools, not having to jerry-rig something to do a half-a$$ed attempt

There are 3 main tools to carry.
1. A Hammer
2. Duct Tape
3. WD 40
If it moves and is not supposed to then use the Duct Tape.
If it does not move and should use the WD 40.
If you can't fix it with the Hammer it is most likely an electrical problem! ;)

I am going to try to put something together next week, keep the ideas coming!!!
An aligning pry bar with a tapered end is a very valuable tool to me. It is so much easier to reconnect your control arms when you have one.
