Alright I know I ask alot, but the only dumb question is a question not asked.
Can most 07 JK aftermarket equipment (such as bumpers) fit on an 08 JK???
That being said can someone recommend me a nice front bumper for less than $300 (not including shipping of course) and also maybe a nice rear bumper as well.
As for front bumpers I kinda like these:

http://www.jeep4x4center.com/popup.asp?number=WAR591

Now as far as these types of bumpers, I'm not looking for some huge thing that'll hold the kitchen sink and all that, Im looking for simplicity. D-Rings or D-Ring holes are about all I need on a front bumper...or a hitch reciever, whichever.
If any of these above are just fine please let me know which the best decision for me would be. I hope I am not the only person in the Jeep world that is as indecisive as I am, dang. :shaking:
Thanks again in advance fellas!!!

Pretty much anything for an 07 will work on an 08. That being said, I think I like the bumper in the 4th link the best out of those.

Have you seen the rugged ridge modular bumper?
I have not seen any feedback on it yet but the nice thing is you could start with just the center section since it comes with endcaps:

and then as you come across money you could add pieces like hoops and light bars, even a stinger if you wanted...

Just an idea. $300 is a tough price range to be in. As far as above I would hve to agree with RedRock, #4
Here's an alternate idea for you. Make your own. Most posts have a sprocket, or self-help automotive shop. I don't know anything about Bragg, but I bet it has one. Get some ideas together, put them on paper, then mock one up out of cardboard. If you can't weld, I guarantee someone in your motor-pool can. Offer them a 12-pack of beer if they help you weld up a bumper. If you build it yourself you can take different ideas from other builders and use the ones you like best. Plus it will give you a greater sense of accomplishment, and pride in your Jeep.

Thanks for the idea Gib. I used to help machine and weld bumpers and skid plates as a hobby w/ a buddy for all the jeep guys around when i was in college, but here I just dont really have the time w/ my unit just getting back from Iraq and all, they're putting in a waiver for me for Ranger School and I'm tryin to get my EIB and all that...right now its just easier to buy one than build one ALTHOUGH its never out of the picture. I can always sell the one I buy to a jeep buddy out here. Also, I wouldn't even know where to begin w/ starting from stratch, we always had the mount design plate drawn up from someone else. Dunno how to do that :p
Appreciate that help!

I'm considering this because I want more than just a piece of steel up there. I want an inexpensive winch mount:

Plus, it's not an extra 100 pounds of bumper under 90 pounds of winch. 100 + 90 = lost lift...

I love the LOD I modified the front so I can put my winch front or rear. And the rear is great too it has a tool box and is held on with 12 grade 8 bolts. Both of them are very strong.
