I'll bet that Karn can track that ass-hat down like a dog in heat. I think Karn has done some work creating trails in Fla as well. Bring him to justice Dave!

When I first read that thread I said: Oh God please don't let that be Karny!
But I think even Karny has more class than those a-holes.;) Plus Karny wouldn't know how to operate a chainsaw if his life depended on it.:grinpimp:

Wow..what a dick. I havent read the thread (busy weekend), but the pic tells the story. We put a lot of work into that trail.

I bet I have a pile of wood on the side of my house that thinks I can operate a chainsaw ;). You hick.

I know of 3 it's on already. Jason at FJOA isnt happy. Jake (Jester) is a LEO - he could have this guy's name and addy in about 10 minutes. My prediction: This guy is gonna have a BAD MONDAY.

From my club forum: The guy laughing in the background is named Mike IIRC. He is a Daytona/Ormond locale, been through my store few times. And I've seen that Jeep at Wilson's.

I'll look into the JK on Monday if someone doesn't beat me to it by then.

You can see the shovel in the back of the JK as well...that he likely used to dig around the base of the post to get it out of the ground. :shaking:

hello ,I am the one in the picture everyone is commenting on. Iwas with a group in ocala camping .Ive been going to the forest for several years and been involved in many events pertaining to tred lightly .I have deticated several weekends to picking up bags apon bags of trash, people shooting anything and everything , beer cans car parts litter like you wouldnt believe . I came apon that sign in the woods that someone must have ran over and cracked the pole. this was during hunting season where those guys hate us jeepers because we disrupt there hunt .I have been a dedicated jeeper since I could stand and apoligize for any thing that offended anyone . I will continue to help my comunnity ,and for the person who posted my information I think you shouldnt jump the gun before you know the whole story.

Way to back pedal. If someone else knocked it over and he cared, he and his buddies could have put it back in the ground...not start hacking at it with a chain saw. :shaking:

As i said on Pirate.. if he was a wise man he should just fess up, take your public licks and move on.... but more than likely we are in for more of the same bullsheot excuses as to why the hell he is holding a chainsaw to a trail marker... and that is gonna unleash the hounds of Pirate Hell on the dude. He may as well take that JK straight to the Hummer lot and trade it in. :shaking:

We have all done some stupid crap in our lives, although this one is fricken up there, the best way to redemption is to cop to it.

To DSTEVENS & MIKE IIRC-

Why in the hell would you cut up a sign because it got run over. The sign post has no marks on it that indicate it was hit by someone else. Nice move to also blame it on another four-wheeler. Since you are so involved in TREAD lightly, you might want to try and spell it correctly. Also, you may want to inform your buddy mike, that TREAD lightly means for him to keep his jeep on the trail. Is that a shovel in the back of your jeep as well? No...of course not. Hope you are enjoying your souvenir from your outing. Maybe someone will put up another one in it's place- so that your buddy can have one too. :thefinger:
