just make sure you know the right people lol im on the adopt a trail for hollcomb and according to greg at the ranger station its closed to ALL vehicle traffic unless its a AAT workday we are trying very hard to get it open sooner but if we dont keep all unauthorized traffic out of there then it may remain closed forever

A Tuesday run sounds like a good idea. Go while all the poor riff-raff is at work. Less traffic, smaller group, you can't go wrong. I'll be there. Right after work :thefinger:

I'm F:thefinger:cken there dude! I'm down for Dishpan and John Bull but not White Mountain. I'm skeered of white mountain. steep, narrow, shelf road with very loose grounds and 5000 feet drops....I think I'm out on white mountain....done it once, will never do again.

It should take you guys about 2 hours to run white mountain I'm guessing. I'll be at the beginning of Dishpan at about 10:30am. What channel on the CB radio? I have the best frequency at higher channels over channel 16. Looking forward to it :) :bounce::smokin:

Damn this sounds like a good time, but no can do. I've got friends in from out of town that I need to entertain. My rig isn't really in tip top shape either.

I saw what you posted about wht mtn- It must not be the same place because it is pretty easy where we are going- with a few tough side trails that have bypasses.

I'll meet you guys at the campground at the entrance of Dishpan Springs from 3N16. I'll just be hanging out there eating breakfast around 10:30am. I've PMed you my number so feel free to call. I'll be on Channel 10. Can't wait. :smokin:

AK, Overton, Bash, Hundy, and all our crew had a great time on a TUESDAY run!!! I think we got some good pics and vids----there were a few "exciting" moments!

I'm going to start a thread in trip reports with lots o pics! Go check it out.

I had the chance to run this with a group led by a forest ranger a couple of weeks ago. The trail is as challenging as ever, but Dang a LOT of the forest burned! It will never be the same again in our lifetime! :bawling:
