Dont miss it....

An event like this only happens once in a lifetime.

Well..every year. But still. That's a lifetime for some animals.

Kinda defeats the whole purpose in going for me. I wanna pick up some bargains while I am there. If you factor in $48, that makes a set of Oh Sh!t handles pretty damn expensive.

Yeah man... I bought my grab handles from the show from Last year.

There were about 10 jeeps from Lakeland jeep club there last year too.

Holy crap... this thing is going to be huge.

I rule:laughing:

Don't forget to bring some cash... if i remember correctly, you have to pay for parking and its like $10

Not my best work, but the cb conversation made me (us) laugh.

Great event. I love anything that gets that many jeeps in a row riding down busy city streets turning heads.

Karn, you got some talent to be playing the harmonica while driving, videoing and talking on the CB!

You didn't tell me you were video the ride with our conversation. You need to give me a disclaimer next time just so I don't say something I'm not suppose to.

Great Video!

Awesome video. I like the CB chatter too. Next time I'll have mine on FO-SHO! Well I ended the adventure with a few goodies. I got the Daystar upper dash thingy and Daystar switch panel on Saturday and went back Sunday and got some tire deflators and a Hilift jack. Good thing my wife is already planning on leaving me or she would probably kill me! lol.

My wife tried to talk to me into buying a hilift. Would you believe I told her no?!!

I have steel brake lines in the mail. Getting them, JE REEL 1310 HDs, 6" LA installed on Monday. AND, Im getting my lights rewired and putting in that yellow top I bought ($110!!!) this friday.

So I actually felt guilty when she tried to get me to buy a hilift lol.

No way. Rooster and I had a good discussion about coilovers and 44 axles on saturday.

Speaking of which, one of the guys sitting at my table @ TGIFridays was mentioning forthcoming Mopar 60s. Said front and rear were less than $6000. Long term plans? Hmmmmmm....

rooster
08-19-2008, 05:38 PM
Im seriously thinking the coilovers from offroadevolution. I also want to know more about the 60's conversion from Mopar. I heard someone else talking about it too. Is there any info out there about that? I was thinking it was more like 4500-4800. If thats the case I may go that route first. Otherwise Im going to go with a 44 front, axles and lockers. I need to get a locker for the rear before River Rock in November so Im looking quick! Im also thinking an OX for the rear.

You should have gotten that Hilift. I got the jack and handle isolator for $52. I think regular that would have been like 85.

Yeah I know. I should have spent about a bazillion dollars. I didnt ask how much the rancho rear bumper was on their JK because I knew I would have bought it if it was cheap. I come home and look it up and it's only $400. I saved myself money by not asking questions lol.
